POST-CARE
Before bed on the day of your lip blushing procedure. it is very important to remove the lymph fluid from the surface of the skin in order to avoid heavy scabbing. Rinse the lips gently with warm water, gently removing any dry lymph, pat them dry and apply glossed aftercare ointment or aquaphor
Apply glossed aftercare on the lips as often as needed to keep the lips hydrated. This should be done for the first 10 days post procedure.
When applying the glossed aftercare ointment, make sure to dab/press it onto the lips. Do not rub it in, as you want to avoid any friction on the lips for the first 10 days.
DO NOT ice the lips!
DO NOT let your lips dry out! Keep applying ointment as needed!
DO NOT pick at your lips or the scabs! Picking at the scabs will results in pigment loss and uneven healed results.
If you run out of the glossed aftercare, you can use aquaphor as an alternative!
NO products besides the ointment should come into contact with the lips for 10 days. (le. soaps, facial washes, creams, or chemicals of any kind)
NO water on the lips for the first 7 days post procedure. Protect your Lips from water by applying ointment on the lips before showering, washing your face, etc.
